They will do a quick visual inspection, sometimes they weigh your pet and his bag, ocassionally have you sign a paper agreeing not to take your pet out of his carrier, and then you pay the $150 fee using any major card. They will hand you a pet receipt and your boarding pass and then you are free to go through security.
